My late wife (née ‘Mickey’ Roselius) was a big fan of the Coke Show. She was a kid when her family moved to Anchorage in 1952. Her Dad owned and operated Far North Trailer park near 16th and Medfra.
Michael, that’s fascinating. She was a great lady who never lost her love for Alaska. When I retired in Oregon in 2006, we happily moved back to Anchorage for two years just to enjoy Alaska again. Her two brothers, Scott and Tom, still live in Alaska.
Jim - I think I first met her at Clark Jr High? Then East High? In any case, I rode the bus with her. So sorry for your loss. Glad you are here on the Anchorage Memories Club.

Jim - I went to school with Mickey - I didn't know she was gone. Thank you for sharing -

I love all these stories and look forward to reading and listening to them. I’ve been here 52 years and didn’t realize how sheltered I was.
